Elevator repair technician wanted in Forrest County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Forrest County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Your main tasks: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
