Chef de partie wanted in Broome County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a chef de partie in Broome County, New York. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. The role involves manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
