Rebar worker wanted in Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Washington County, Mississippi. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Rotating shifts.
