You should have: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Confident with manual handling and load securing The role involves check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; present documents at weighbridges and check posts.
