Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Saint Francois County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal 6+ years on the tools preferred.
