Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in City of Colonial Heights, Virginia. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
