Gas pipeline fitter — Snyder County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Rotating shifts.
