Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Gusau, Zamfara State. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites Day to day you will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. 1+ years on the tools preferred. ₦215,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
