Road roller operator • Richmond County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a road roller operator in Richmond County, New York. The job is at a plant hire yard. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Day to day you will check for underground cables and services before digging; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
