Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. You will work at an accident repair centre. You will prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels. What we are looking for: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Rotating shifts.
