Wet plasterer • McDonough County, Illinois

Join our team: we are hiring a wet plasterer in McDonough County, Illinois. Day to day you will polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; check walls for plumb and level as you go; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Part-time with flexible hours. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
