Now hiring: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. On the job you will handle: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
