Toolroom milling operator wanted in Moultrie County

Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Moultrie County, Illinois. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
