Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Ida County, Iowa. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
