Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Bida, Niger State. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day-to-day duties: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
