Gtaw welder — Pembrokeshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Pembrokeshire, Wales. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
