Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Throckmorton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Throckmorton County, Texas. The job is in a toolroom. On a typical shift you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
