Cnc turning machinist wanted in City of Hampton

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in City of Hampton, Virginia. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
