We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Lewis County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
