Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Oyo East, Oyo State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On the job you will handle: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Full-time with occasional weekends. ₦90,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
