Earthmoving plant operator wanted in Smyth County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Smyth County, Virginia. You will work at a plant hire yard. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination You will operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
