Aluminium tig welder • Musawa, Katsina State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Musawa, Katsina State. You will be based on an industrial construction site. On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Performance bonus on top of base pay.
