Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Madison County, New York. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
