The role involves check engine oil, coolant and washer fluid levels before each shift; drive defensively through heavy traffic and bad weather; keep a daily trip log and record mileage and fuel used; carry out pre-trip checks on tyres, brakes, lights and mirrors; make sure everyone is seated and belted before moving off.
