Great opportunity: we are hiring a collision repair technician in East Ayrshire, Scotland. The job is in a collision repair centre. Day to day you will straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray. You should have: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports Six days a week, one day off.
