Join our team: site safety steward (Kwara State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Ifelodun, Kwara State. You will be based at a busy construction site. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Day-to-day duties: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
