The role involves: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Rotating shifts.
