Port container crane operator — Ulster County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Ulster County, New York. You will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); work out the load weight and the lifting radius. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
