Immediate opening: we are hiring a JCB operator in Wayne County, Iowa. The job is at a landfill site. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise On the job you will handle: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
