Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Estill County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
