Now hiring: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Deschutes County, Oregon. The role involves: • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Full-time with occasional weekends.
