Now hiring: we are hiring a roofer in St. Lawrence County, New York. You will be based at a roofing and cladding contractor. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls On a typical shift you will solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; insulate and ventilate the roof void; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
