Finishing presser — Decatur County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Decatur County, Indiana. You will work at a garment factory. You will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
