Plant operator — Sussex County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Sussex County, New Jersey. You will work at a plant hire yard. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures The role involves: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
