Urgent requirement: we are hiring a building site helper in Tuscola County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Your main tasks: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker Rotating shifts.
