Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Casey County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
