Gas installation technician • Surry County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Surry County, Virginia. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings On the job you will handle: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray Full-time, day shift. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
