Great opportunity: rough terrain crane operator (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Tompkins County, New York. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Day-to-day duties: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
