MIG/MAG welder — Yellow Medicine County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
