Immediate opening: pipe TIG welder (Minnesota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Itasca County, Minnesota. The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift.
