Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Thomas County, Kansas. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation Full-time, day shift.
