Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Grady County, Oklahoma. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On a typical shift you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
