Pipe tig welder wanted in Crawford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Crawford County, Kansas. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
