Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Lowndes County, Alabama. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres The role involves log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
