Urgent requirement: precision welder (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in South Tyneside, England. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day to day you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection We offer £2,950 per month plus benefits.
