Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Buckinghamshire, England. You will work at a power plant. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Day-to-day duties: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
