Fettler — Damaturu

Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Damaturu, Yobe State. On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
