Urgent requirement: CNC milling operator (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Lyon County, Iowa. You will be based in a toolroom. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron You will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
