Horizontal milling machine operator • Boone County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Boone County, Indiana. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
