Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. You will work at an auto components factory. The role involves load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; record output and downtime on the production sheet; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits.
